IT helpdesk
You are welcome to contact the IT helpdesk if:- you find errors in the computer equipment, software or hardware.
- you have any question about the IT environment.
- printers are out of paper.
- printer writing quality is getting bad and the toner must be changed.
- you have problems with your system accounts.
- you have problems with connecting your laptop to DSV's computer network.
IT helpdesk
You find the IT helpdesk office in Forum floor 6 in the group room corridor, phone 08-161648, e-mail helpdesk@dsv.su.se. The IT helpdesk office is open during the week at 9-11 during the university term. If no one is in the office room you can call 08-161648 to reach on duty support personnel. The IT helpdesk helps with emergency problems and answers questions, though not those involving how to use or work with specific software programs for the courses. In those cases you should turn to your teacher or tutorer.
First Class
DSV uses the conference system First Class for internal communication. First Class contains a special conference "Stud helpdesk DMC" where you can send questions about DSV's IT environment and exchange experiences with other students.
