Stockholm University is the first Swedish member of OpenCourseWare Consortium
Stockholm University is the first Swedish member of the international OpenCourseWare Consortium. The initiative is taken by the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) at Stockholm University in an effort to open up Stockholm University’s courses to the public and other institutions. Courses through this portal will be released under Creative Commons making them available for other to use. The effort is started by DSV, but it will be available to the whole of Stockholm University.
The OpenCourseWare Consortium is a worldwide community of hundreds of higher education institutions and associated organizations committed to advancing OpenCourseWare and its impact on global education. OpenCourseWare are free and openly licensed, accessible to anyone, anytime via the internet.
