PDF stands for Portable Document Format and is a open file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993. It is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a device independent and resolution independent fixed-layout document format. For Windows Microsoft Word users, DSV's installed version of Microsoft Word has a button to press for generating PDF. Also if you are logged on to the DSV computers you should be able to print from any program to the "Adobe PDF Distiller" print driver.
