ICT for Cooperative Communication
ICT for Cooperative Communication is an online course that combines communication theories, global leadership styles, and effective collaboration in virtual teams. It trains you how to master multicultural communication via the use of ICT. It is a platform that gives you the opportunity of forming virtual multicultural teams to exercise leadership and communication skills, in a real-time collaboration medium.
Students will come together to acknowledge differences and overcome obstacles of stereotypes and local habits, in an attempt to prove time and again that ICT is a way to bridge cultures.
Nowadays, the world is becoming smaller and smaller thanks to the use of the Internet and other virtual collaboration tools. Enterprises are extending their presence across continents, nations are realizing that they do not live alone, they share global issues. For instance, people are affected by the global financial situation, the environmental threats, and diseases transcend boarders and cultures.
Therefore, a more collaborative positive approach among nations is what can make or break the world that we live in. By learning the skills of non-prejudicial communication, and the know-how of effectively working virtually, you will have an edge over others in the global scene. Thus the importance of this course.
