Programme outline

Within the Master´s programme "Computer and Systems Sciences", there are a number of specializations (tracks) to choose from. Are you interested in contributing to a more sustainable and less vulnerable information society? Then you can select the information security track. Would you rather focus on the construction and design of, e.g., mobile services? Then you could choose the track of human-computer interaction design. Additional tracks are towards information and communication technologies, IT architecture and design, and business intelligence.

Shared courses

Please observe that each course is 7.5 ECTS at DSV except the thesis course which is 30 ECTS.

• Computer science courses preparing for the tracks:
  
  • Two out of the following three course (period 1):
    
    • Enterprise Computing and ERP Systems
    • Data mining in Computer and System Sciences
      
    • Principles of Computer Security
  • One from the following two courses (period 2):
    
    • Methodology for Interaction Design
    • Data warehousing
       
• Thesis work, 30 ECTS

Tracks:

• Track foundations, 22.5 ECTS
• Track in depth / electives , 30 ECTS
