Human-computer interaction design track
Are you interested in development and design of mobile services? Then you could choose the track of human-computer interaction design.
Why choose Human Computer Interaction Design?
The digital environment is everywhere, ranging from personal devices at home to advance mobile support systems for professionals. Thus, understanding how we learn, adapt and use everyday computing requires a new kind of interdisciplinary knowledge. The human-computer interaction design track integrates informatics, computer science, design, social science, psychology and economics to provide a broad understanding regarding the design and use of digital systems.
In this track students will develop the skills and knowledge needed to understand and build new way users can communicate and interact with digital systems. The track is based on the Scandinavian multi-disciplinary approach to interaction design which is grounded in an open dialogue with active participation of end-users and is focused on people, societal values, ICT functionality, and aesthetics.
Graduates will find employment in all sectors that apply digital technology, such as industry, business, government, health, education, media and entertainment, where they work as, e.g., usability specialists, web designers, user-interface designers, information architects.
