Program outline

The ICT for development programme shares the first term with our master's programme in computer and systems sciences. From the second term onwards the focus shifts to the use of ict for developement and to courses in related areas.

Program outline valid for students accepted for start in autumn 2010

Please observe that each course is 7.5 ECTS at DSV except the thesis course which is 30 ECTS.

Computer science general courses:

• Principles of Computer Security
• One out of the following two courses (period 1):
  
  • Enterprise Computing and ERP Systems
  • Processes for IT Production
• One from the following two courses (period 2):
  
  • Methodology for Interaction Design
  • Data warehousing

Examples of elective courses:

• IT and crisis management

• ICT for Collaborative Communication

• E-governance

• ICT for development and entrepeneurship
