First year of study
The first semester is different depending on whether your Bachelor’s major is in Business Administration (BA) or in Computer Science, Systems Science, or Informatics (CS). The second semester is common to all students.
Courses in the autumn term - first year
Students with a B SC in BA
DSV: BC followed by FEK:Electives in the second half of the semester
Students with a B Sc in CS
DSV:Electives followd by FEK:BC in the second half of the semester
FEK:BC = Basic course in business administration
DSV:BC = Basic course in computer and systems sciences
FEK:Elective = Elective courses in business administration
DSV:Elective = Elective courses in computer and systems sciences
DSV elective courses for the autumn term (first year), a choice of two out of the following three courses :
- Enterprise Computing and ERP Systems
- Data mining in Computer and Systems Sciences
- Principles of Computer Security
FEK elective courses for the autumn term (first year), a choice of two out of the following six courses :
- Brands: A Cultural Perspective (BCP)
- Företags- och marknadskommunikation – avancerad nivå (FMK-A, in Swedish only)

Second year of study
The third semester you have 2 mandatory courses and 2 courses you select yourself. You need not choose the same as your Bachelor’s major or planned Master's major. The fourth semester is different depending on which major you choose for your master’s degree, either Business Administration (BA) or Computer and Systems Sciences (CS). It consists of thesis work in your major subject.
