Requirements

To be admitted to the master thesis course you need to have fulfilled the requirements listed below:

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 90 credits in computer and systems sciences.
  • 60 credits within your master programme.
  • The course FMVEK Scientific communication and research methodology  or similar.

Suggested thesis projects

You also have the opportunity to apply to undertake thesis work related to an already defined mission provided by a supervisor, industry or other organization. You can find announced projects at http://career.dsv.su.se/en . You have to contact the industry/organization or supervisor on your own and make all arrangements. If you are approved to conduct such a project, indicate this in your project idea.

Project idea

You have to submit your project idea in time, se above. More about the project idea, what to include, how to submit etc. see the subpage Project idea.

Finally

It is wise to search and read relevant literature well in advance, both in depth about your chosen topic and also about suitable research theories and methods. It takes much more time than expected to find, read, and understand relevant quality literature. A genuine literature review is very useful for designing a good project plan and is helpful during the whole thesis work process.
