Programme Content

The programme is divided into four periods. During the first period, you choose two elective courses from the Core Competence Pool. For the three subsequent periods, you select courses from one or more of the course blocks. During the two periods in the spring, you do your thesis alongside more courses out of the blocks. Currently, there are six course blocks:

You choose courses from one or more course blocks to fit your interests. A few courses are not included in any block and could be chosen separately. It is also possible to freely choose the courses you want to study. Here - masterpoolvt12 - is a list of courses you can choose from. Finally, you may also take a few courses from the undergraduate level if you miss something special in your Bachelor's degree.

Core Competence Pool

In period 1, you choose two courses from the core course list, i.e. two of the following courses (note that the exact set of courses might differ slightly from this list):

At the end of period 1, you choose the courses you want to take for the rest of the programme from the six course blocks. You can mix courses from multiple course blocks if you want. You choose two courses in period 2 (autumn) and one course each in periods 3 and 4 (spring) when you also write your thesis.
