In order to transfer credits from your exchange studies to your programme at DSV, you must apply for this when you are back in Sweden. Credits are not transferred to Stockholm University automatically.

Enclose the following documents (if necessary, translated to English):

  • Transcript of Records - an certified copy of the original document.
    (Official document from the partner university verifying the courses you have passed with credits and grading system. The Transcript of Recordsmust, either be an official certificate with a signature and stamp or have a code for verification.)
  • Learning Agreement
  • Changes to Learning Agreement (If DSV have approved changes of courses.) 

If you have changed to a course which not have been approved by DSV, please attach relevant information as syllabus, course description and reading list.

Translation of credits

30 ECTS credits correspond to 30 credits in the Swedish system. You can not gain more than 30 credits per semester or 60 credits per academic year.
In cases where the ECTS system is not applied: you should perform the equivalent of 20 weeks full-time studies to obtain 30 credits.

The grades you receive during your exchange studies are not transferred by Stockholm University due the grading system are not comparable between countries. We check if you have received a passing grade.
