  • Matti Tedre “I am in my dream job” Those are the words of Matti Tedre, associate professor at DSV. He is a computer scientist by training with a background in ICT4D and philosophy of computer science.
  • Tessy Cerratto Pargman "This is the best job you can have!" So says Teresa Cerratto Pargman, associate professor in human-cmputer-interaction about her research within learning, writing and language.

  • Theo Kanter Theo Kanter: Smart Services for Future Internet Theo Kanter has been a visiting professor at DSV since summer 2010. His research is in the intersection of Ubiquitous Connectivity, Networked Media, and Distributed Sensor & User Information. Theo focuses on possible services by studying the properties of the platform for intelligent services for the future Internet. Theo Kanter had a part time position as visiting professor during the period 2010-2011. Now he is at DSV full time and director of the research unit with the provisional name "new K2".
  • Docent Henrik Hansson, Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap. Henrik Hansson: Grants from Sida to strengthen education through IT DSV and Life academy in Karlstad has received funding from Sida for a program to reduce poverty and contribute to sustainable development through better integration of IT in education systems. The programme is aimed at policy makers and will provide knowledge of IT as a tool to create improvements in administration, leadership and educational development. Associate Professor Henrik Hansson coordinates DSV part in project.
  • Rebecca Forsberg Where art and technology meet Artistic technology is an exciting new interdisciplinary field. In collaboration with artistic colleges, cultural institutions and society encounters between art and technology are created.
