IT Management

IT Management is an approach to study the management of IT resources of an organization that are including technology, human resources and IT-business relationships. Furthermore IT management is looking for managing effectively and efficiently all the organization’s information resources. The contribution of IT Management research is considered to be extremely important in analyzing how the organizations are gaining values through the use of information technologies. In this perspective our research in IT management is focusing on the areas that are major concerns for IT leaders around the world like Business-IT Alignment, IT Governance, IT Outsourcing and IT Service Management. We also have several projects related to Knowledge Management and the use of "Best practices" to facilitate the sharing of knowledge in large organizations.
