Course Program
The requirement of 90/60 hp credits in courses in total for the PhD resp licentiate, includes three/two mandatory courses of 7,5 hp credits each, and additional courses. A course is one of the following:
- A doctoral course, run with a certain periodicity, given for a group of students, or
- An individual study course, which is agreed and documented between the student and his/her advisor, in terms of the literature to be included, the form of examination (e.g. a written or oral exam), and the number of credits.
Mandatory Courses
- Philosophy of Science, 7,5 hp credits
- Qualitative and quantitative research methods, 7,5 hp credits
- Scientific communication and research methodology, 7,5 hp credits
- For students enrolled after March 8, 2011, assigned supplementary courses are also mandatory.
