About us
The Kids research group is part of K2lab at the IT-University in Kista. Our research interests concern new tools and methods for children’s own designing, building and sharing of computational artefacts. Currently, we are developing new technologies for programming with physical and tangible objects.

We are working with groups of elementary and middle school children that design and program their own systems, for instance animated games, fantasy worlds, and sometimes more school-related projects such as the dynamics of an ecological system.
