- It feels great to have been elected to the board of directors of IRIS, which I consider the most personally rewarding of the various international conferences that I have attended as a graduate student. IRIS differs from traditional conferences, by encouraging cooperation and provide feedback on research presentations in small groups, says Elin Uppström, doctoral student since two years back in information systems at DSV.

I am very much looking forward to working with capturing the interest of other students and senior researchers for the conference and spread the word about how rewarding it can be to attend IRIS.

About IRIS
IRIS is organized for the 36th time in 2013 and cooperates with the highly ranked Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems, to which excellent research paper presented at SCIS (Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems) can be accepted and published. To increase the attractiveness of senior researchers to visit the conference SCIS and IRIS are coorganized at the same time in August.
