On time: The Smartwatch in vivo
The user study on the Apple Watch was made by Barry Brown, Donald McMillan and Airi Lampinen at the Mobile Life Centre at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, Stockholm University, and Stefania Pizza at Sapienza University of Rome. In the study a dozen participants (seven women, five men) got Apple Watches and wearable cameras that captured on video 1,009 interactions over 34 days.
The paper is under submission to the conference on Computer-Human-Interaction CHI2016.
