Below, you will find information regarding the commencement of your studies at DSV autumn semester 2020.

Master's programmes that begin year 1 will be starting the 1st semester online

Due to the COVID-19 situation in the world, the 1st semester of the Master’s programmes at DSV will be given online as distance learning. This applies for everything, including lectures and supervision, as well as written exams and assignments.

You will be informed on whether the 2nd semester will start on campus or online, no later than the 30th of September 2020. 

Introductory welcome session 27th of August 2020 

The introductory information session of the 27th of August 2020 will be held digitally. You will receive more information and links to the digital material a few days before the session takes place. 

Students from outside EU/EEA and Switzerland

It is very important that you check the requirements for a residence permit and make sure that you fulfil them, so that you can come to Sweden to study when the education form changes to on-campus. Kindly note that Stockholm University cannot influence the decisions of the Swedish Migration Agency. Please also note that it is not possible to get a residence permit for studies in Sweden during the period that your programme is distance-based.

Admitted student checklist:

  1. Your place will automatically be confirmed when you enrol via our online enrolment on August 10 to August 31. It is not possible to accept your place in any other way than via the enrolment between these dates. If you are admitted and want to keep your place, just wait and you will receive more information via email from us.
     
  2. Decline: It’s important that you decline your offer as soon as you know you will not attend. Please decline your place at universityadmissions.se. Log on to your account, go to Applications and follow the instructions. Please do not contact the Department in this matter.
     
  3. If you are admitted with “condition”, be sure to complete your Bachelor’s degree or other required courses. You have to show proof that the condition has been fulfilled no later than the last enrolment day (August 31). Please submit via email, or bring, the original document as well as a complete transcript of courses.

    You must always submit your certificate/diploma in the official language of the country where you studied. If this language is not Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, English, French or German, you must also provide an official translation of the certificate/diploma. This translation should be in Swedish or English.

June 1 – last day for payment of tuition fee. For more questions regarding tuition fees, please contact study@su.se

June 29 – Third email. Update and information about your courses and how to enrol.

August 3 – Fourth email. A reminder.

August 10 – August 31 - Enrolment. Your place will automatically be confirmed when you enrol. It is not possible to accept your place in any other way than via the online enrolment between these dates.

August 31 – Semester start. The study platform will open this week and you will be able to log on to your first courses.
