Record-young Professor in Computer and Systems Sciences
Professor Panagiotis Papapetrou is, at the age of 35, the youngest person appointed to a professorship at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences. He is also the third youngest person promoted or hired as a professor at Stockholm University in the 2000s.
Panagiotis completed his doctorate in Computer Science at Boston University in 2010 and continued as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University in Finland for three years. During 2012-2013 Panagiotis was a lecturer at the Birkbeck University of London, and in 2013 he was appointed as a Senior lecturer at Stockholm University.
